About Cork FM

Cork FM Community Radio is a new community based, voluntarily run, radio station, giving a voice to the communities of Cork city who are not catered for by commercial radio.  Cork FM will be  broadcasting on weekends from June 2011 an excitingly diverse range of community centered programming offering listeners something truly different, ranging from an insight into the local music scene, exciting initiatives taking place in the city’s communities, to local success stories from Cork’s vibrant business community.

Cork FM Community Radio was founded lovingly by fellow Corkonians, both native and new, with the intent of creating a community radio station that gives a voice to the community, its businesses, local organisations, charities and community programs.

Our mission is to create a better sense of community for the Cork area and enliven its residents of all ages, genders and nationalities.
